With Tina Vacalopoulos, Leslie produced the feature film LIE EXPOSED which sold to Mongrel Media and Crave, and was picked up by Indican Pictures for US and international distribution. She directed multiple episodes of SNOWPIERCER starring Jennifer Connelly and Sean Bean, and was a director and producer on Season 4. Leslie directed and exec produced BURIED TREASURE which won The Rome Int’l Film Festival as Best Narrative Short and with Jon Eskenas she served as Executive Producer on THE BLING RING.
Leslie produced and directed WHAT I SEE WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES, a documentary following the street kids of Cambodia, which won several awards and was the official selection of over 30 film festivals. EYES was invited to screen at “V-Day” and The American Visionary Arts Museum and she was honored to have The Kent Film Festival name “The Hope Award for Outstanding Work in Documentary Filmmaking” after her and her work.
Directing work includes the mini-series THE BETTER SISTER starring Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks for Amazon, and A SMALL LIGHT starring Bel Pawley. TV Episodic work includes SNOWPIERCER, STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS, LOST IN SPACE, THE ORDER, AFTERMATH, GHOST WARS, VANHELSING and several episodes in the LAW and ORDER franchise. Leslie wrote and directed the comedy short GAYKEITH, and created its accompanying web campaign. GAYKEITH became a viral internet hit and was picked up for distribution by Tricon Films.
For the theater, Leslie directed and co-created with Roberto Campanella F-Lying: A Fellini Cabaret for ProArteDanza as part of The Global Cabaret Festival. Previous directing work includes development of new works for the stage, and a re-examination of the classics for The Wilton Project, a theatre company she co-founded and ran for ten years as Artistic Director.
